Merry Christmas To All ~ Marcus

Merry Christmas to everyone in F23! I think it's seriously about time someone else, other than me, to update this blog.

Anyway, let's really start praying for all our lost integration and for new friends to come to church this weekend. Let's start to take ownership for our own schools because indeed, the harvest is plentiful so it's really easy. As school is reopening, let's be inspired by how Charleston saw, stood and pass on his vision for a revival in North Brooks. Imagine SASS, ACS(B) and MSHS hit 17 each. That would be 51 and let's not forget CTSS. We could hit 55 by the end of next year! Let's be faithful in our integrations and it will really be easy. But let's not just use Charleston as an example but also remember Red Rain? Although I wasn't in church then, I remembered y'all did some crazy stuff like giving out Red Rain bottles during the Cross Country Race. Then there was HeartFest. I remembered on the day before, we all called a lot of people and eventually Jedric stayed on in HOGC and he became the Charleston of ACS(B). We have done it before and we can do it again. Let's get the 2nd generation of our school.

Take ownership of our school. Take ownership of our integrations. Take ownership of this blog... Seriously.

God's Double Plan

When everyone was napping today, I was thinking about stuff and how my life has changed so much this year. I've come to realise that God has 2 plans.

His 1st plan is what I call, "The Perfect World". This the plan where God sees it as ideal and as a role model in that sense. It's used as a bench mark.

His 2nd plan is what I call, "Our Destiny". This is the plan that we are living in right now. It is filled with mistakes but in the end, we will reach our actual destiny.

These two plans are very similar. Only one thing separate these two. In actual fact, we can never touch, and for that matter, smell, that perfect plan. However, we can move closer to it. This special thing is called, "Decision Making".

We have to start making the right decisions in our life by taking the right opportunities and having faith and hope in the decisions we make. It's really about having courage to break that barrier of unwillingness. We just got to start to seek God more and get a second opinion on all the lies the Devil has filled us with. We have to start gaining ground in unfamiliar territories. We have to break free from our comfort zone. I, for one, admit that I struggle with this daily and maybe that's why God spoke to me. I believe everyone does struggle with this at one point of their lives and it's just about all the faith and hope in these opportunities and decisions. Have faith that you will impact someone. Have hope that you will be a miracle to someone else.

But we also have to be good opportunist. Opportunities do come to us but sometimes, we have to seek them and make the right decisions that will affect someone's life for better or for worse.

Our destiny is not perfectly imperfect. It's how many right decisions we make in life added on to that perfect imperfection.

Leaders

This blog is dying. We have to really updated now! Ha ha! So anyway, I'm going to build up on what Charleston said during service today.

The divine feature of a leader is humility. Only with humility will we be able to be a leader who will:

- Bear The Burden
Firstly, bearing the burden is basically taking ownership in what you have chosen to do, not what you have been entrusted to do.

- Fear God
My main point for now. There are two kinds of fear. One exists in humility and one exists in pride. The fear that propels pride is the fear of losing its obsession. It is the shutting out of the world around you and behave like you are the only creature that exists. It drains trust in everything else including God. However, the fear that thrives in humility is to fear God. It is the fear of losing the presence of God. It is the fear to be chained up by sin. It causes us to love God. If there isn't a sincere fear in humility, there isn't a sincere love for God.

- Be Dedicated And Committed
Lastly, being dedicated and committed is to be caring. It is to be willing to help in every detail of one's life. Details determine destiny.

Prayer

What Is Prayer?

Many of my classmates has got this mindset that prayer is an act of hope. If it's an act of hope, then that means we are worried and worrying is a natural response. But praying is not natural, its super natural. Then what is a super natural response? Like what Pastor Lia said, faith is a super natural response. That means prayer is an act of faith and not an act of hope. It means that when we pray, we should pray with conviction and not with worry. Tomorrow is Mathematics Paper 2 and I believe many people are worrying. But when we pray, lets pray with conviction so that something super natural will happen!
